A Fort Worth shooting victim tells police he was just walking down the street Sunday night when somebody shot him.
Just before midnight, the victim showed up at JPS Hospital with a gunshot wound to the ankle. It's not life-threatening. But he says he had just left a convenience store and was walking down the sidewalk near I-20 and McCart. Suddenly, he heard the gunshot and felt the pain and saw the blood on his ankle.
Police say he drove himself to the hospital to get checked out and the hospital called police when they realized he was a shooting victim. The man did not know who shot him or why.
A man remains in the hospital after being shot during a robbery in Dallas over the weekend, and the gunman is still on the run.
The victim was found bleeding near Skillman and I-635 on Sunday. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital in critical condition. Police say the shooter stole the man's property but they're not saying what it was.
A killer is still on the loose in Pleasant Grove where a man was gunned down over the weekend. He was found badly wounded Saturday on Scyene near Saint Augustine. He died at the hospital. Dallas police can't say why the man was shot nor who did it.
