Arlington is moving forward with a lease agreement to open a National Medal of Honor Museum within three years of ground-breaking.
The deal allows the group behind the project to eventually buy the acreage on the corner where the current Rangers Youth Ballpark sits adjacent to Globe Life Park, the former home of the Rangers.
And, the agreement also stipulates that the Texas Rangers Foundation will pay $100,000 to build or renovate a new youth ballpark somewhere else.
