Thursday, Dallas County started up a new call center aimed at making registration for the vaccine, easier.
The call center will be manned from 7am to 7pm daily with a messaging center as well.
Commissioner John Wiley Price says the people answering the phones will be able to speak several languages and will be able to tell the county who is actually being severed.
"We will be getting reports on who is calling and how long in fact they are waiting on those lines," he says.
There had been reports that some had been waiting for up to an hour for an appointment. Commissioners say this call center will alleviate that.
