The anticipation starts again for fans of the H-E-B grocery store chain. The newest store in North Texas opens in just over two weeks.
The first H-E-B store in north Texas turned into such a popular destination, on its very first day in September that new store saw more than 1,500 customers wait in line to be among the first to check out the grocery aisles.
Reports said some people waited in line for more than 12 hours.
Now, H-E-B is almost ready to open up its second store. This new one is going up in Plano, near Preston and Spring Creek Parkway.
That new store will open its doors for shoppers on November 2nd at 6:00 a.m. according to the company.
H-E-B is also planning new stores in McKinney and Allen. There's also another one set to start construction in Mansfield early next year.
