A new attraction aimed at making money more understandable and engaging is set to open in downtown Dallas on Feb. 20, 2026.
MoMoney, the Museum of Money, will debut at 501 Elm St., near Dealey Plaza, inviting visitors of all ages to explore interactive exhibits on currency, finance and economic concepts through hands-on experiences rather than traditional displays.
Organizers describe the museum as a “playful, high-energy world” designed to demystify money by letting guests design their own currency, navigate themed environments, and interact with activities such as a currency design station and an interactive money lab.
Ticket prices start at $25 for children and $30 for adults, with an opening weekend 50 percent discount available online Feb. 20-22 to encourage early visits; MoMoney leadership said Dallas was chosen for its vibrant entrepreneurial culture and central location in the city’s West End Historic District.
