New passport facility to open in McKinney

The Collin County District Clerk’s office this week announced the opening of a passport acceptance facility within its office located at the Collin County Courthouse in McKinney.

The new office is set to begin operations on Nov. 4 and will initially operate by appointment only. Appointments can be made online at the District Clerk’s website within the Collin County webpage.

Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould said the new facility was a joint effort by the Collin County Congressional delegation led by Congressman Keith Self, working closely with the Dallas Passport Agency.

The passport acceptance facility will operate from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
