An off-duty Plano police officer and two other men have been questioned by police after yesterday's gunbattle in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven at Shiloh and 14th.

Plano police say this all began about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when the off-duty officer went inside the store to find another man quarreling with the clerk.

That man and the officer went back outside and the officer says the man got a gun out of his car, and that's when the shooting started.

Despite numerous shots being fired, no one was hit.

The officer and the other shooter were interviewed at length. A third man was also detained but police are not saying how he was involved.
