South Korea's Seung Yul Noh sits alone atop the leaderboard heading into day two of the AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney.
On Thursday, with some fog and mist early in the day and gusty winds in the afternoon just as Highland Park's Scottie Scheffler was teeing off for round one. Scheffler had an eagle on the final hole, ending the day at seven-under, tied for 4th place.
Noh leads the pack at eleven-under, carding a 60 on day one. Noh had an eagle and nine birdies and did not have a bogey all day.
After an afternoon tee time Thursday, Scheffler starts this morning at 8:34 a.m. in the same grouping with Jason Day and back-to-back defending Byron Nelson champion KH Lee.
The early start could help because today's rain, about a 40 percent chance, is expected mainly in the afternoon. Some of today's storms could turn severe, so that could cause delays for the late starters. Heavy rain and perhaps more severe weather are expected Saturday.
