FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - After the football team at one Fort Worth private school is caught using ineligible players, the school has taken action.
Nolan Catholic High School has fired Athletic Director Jordan Hampton and placed head football coach Dave Beaudin on indefinite suspension.
The moves come days after TAPPS forced the Vikings to forfeit three wins, including two in-district.
The Vikings had gotten off to a 4-0 start in district play; the forfeits drop their district record to 2-2 and their overall record to 2-5.
The school's entire athletic department has also been placed on probation through June of 2023; during this time, teams will still be eligible for postseason play.
