A North Richland Hills police officer and another driver are both in hospital after they collided in the intersection of Davis and Mid Cities Boulevard overnight.
The crash happened just a few minutes past midnight and the impact was so severe the officer had to be pried from the wreckage.
The officer and the other driver are reported to be in stable condition. Investigators have not said which one of them was at fault.
