ERCOT will host their board of directors meeting in Austin on Tuesday as Texan residents brace for another day of high temperatures.
Earlier this year, ERCOT warned us that August would be the riskiest time for issues on the Texas power grid. Some North Texas homeowners say their air conditioning units are going out in this heat.
To help combat this ERCOT said that its customers could rent out AC units from companies like Rescue Cooling Rentals. Customers even said that they didn't even know that they could rent out units.
