Kay & Co. Designs, a local design company owned by Amanda Miner is one of those companies helping individuals and businesses declutter and aesthetically organize their spaces.
"A lot of times people are just busy with life. They have kids. They have work. And it's hard to find the time to go through and purge or just get your house in order," Miner said.
Acknowledging the unique challenges individuals face when trying to tackle organization and design, Miner highlighted the company's approach to tailoring solutions that fit each space perfectly.
"We typically come out for an in-home consultation, and we try to take measurements and see the space, and we're able to tailor the product that we want to get to the space so it fits really perfectly," she explained.
The company doesn't just focus on aesthetics, but on functionality as well.
"It really is to make the space as functional as possible. Because all day long, someone can have a beautiful space. But if it doesn't work for them and their everyday life, then it's not super functional," Miner points out.
Sometimes emotional barriers can prevent their clients from seeking help.
"We get a lot of feedback from our clients that their initial reaction is 'I didn't want to call you because I'm so embarrassed about how my home has gotten.' But we have really seen all homes, all spaces, and it's a no judgment zone."
"We are true believers in clarity over clutter. And we really do believe when you have an organized, beautiful space, it really does just change your life."
