Ask the Expert: North Texas health care workers disheartened by COVID-19 spike

The Delta strain of the Coronavirus is causing more than 80 percent of the new cases of COVID in the country. At this moment, there seems to be no stopping it, especially for people that are unvaccinated.

Infectious disease experts say "it's like nothing they have seen before", when it comes to the spread. In one day, North Texas went up from 976 COVID patients to 1,035.


In perspective, more than half of the country has yet to get the COVID vaccine.
