World Cup organizers in North Texas are speaking out about the transportation requirements needed to get fans to the various matches in Arlington.

North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee President Monica Paul says they have been working on the plan for years.

"We're working with the transit agencies both Dart, Trinity Metro, TRE, TEXRail, to make sure we have the rail service where fans can go from both Fort Worth and Arlington to CentrePort Station," Paul said.

Once at CentrePort Station, ticketholders will be able to board more than 125 buses that will be set up to take fans to AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Paul said cities in the Metroplex that are considering pulling out of DART should not affect their operation around the FIFA World Cup.

"From a games and fan festival standpoint, I don't see a lot of impact," Paul said. "Those stations out at Fair Park and MLK Station will continue to be open."
