A popular TikTok star from Northlake has pleaded guilty to the accidental shooting of his social media partner last July.

Ladarius Brownlee was sentenced to 10 years of probation by a Denton County judge for the shooting, which left TikTok partner Zahra Hashemi wounded.

According to Brownlee’s lawyer, the couple had just finished watching fireworks in Flower Mound when a gun accidentally discharged, striking Hashemi in the head. She survived the shooting.

The couple rose to prominence by chronicling their lives on TikTok, where they amassed a large following.

Brownlee’s lawyer said the two remain a couple.
