DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A Dallas warehouse has been gutted by a fast-moving fire on Harry Hines near Royal Lane.
Dallas Fire-Rescue got the call just past 8:30 p.m. Thursday and rolled to Silver Star Wholesale where they found the fire had quite a head start inside the large, one-story building.
It was too far gone to send anyone inside so commanders order firefighters to work from the outside, setting up four of the multi-story "ladder pipes" which pour high-pressure streams of water from up high down on the flames.

Investigators learned the business was closed when the fire broke out so no one was trapped inside. One firefighter was taken to the hospital for a medical episode but is expected to be okay.
