The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has announced that toll rates will increase on July 1, 2025, as part of its biennial rate adjustment. TollTag users will see rates rise from 21 cents to 22 cents per mile, while ZipCash customers—those who pay by mail—will continue to pay double the TollTag rate.

This adjustment aligns with NTTA's regular schedule to support the repayment of approximately $8.8 billion in toll bonds used for constructing and maintaining the region's toll road system. The funds also contribute to ongoing projects, including the expansion of the Dallas North Tollway and the Chisholm Trail Parkway.

The NTTA operates several major toll roads in North Texas, including the Dallas North Tollway, President George Bush Turnpike, Sam Rayburn Tollway, and the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel. The upcoming rate increase will affect all these roadways.

Drivers are advised to be aware of the new rates and consider obtaining a TollTag to minimize costs. The NTTA will update signage across its network to reflect the new rates ahead of the July 1 implementation date.
