NWS confirms 15 tornadoes in cluster that struck North Texas this week

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has now confirmed another tornado from the cluster that hammered North Texas on Tuesday.

Meteorologists now count 15 twisters from an EF-2 in Cisco  to the southwest of Fort Worth to another EF-2 near Paris in the northeast.

There were also EF-2s in Wise County and Collin County. The others were rated either EF-0 or EF-1.

Two of the EF-1s struck Grapevine where clean-up and repairs continue.

Thursday, the city offered updated information saying they have identified 45 structures that were affected by the storms but most have no significant damage.

At least 14 homeowners have reported damage to the state.

Furthermore, the city says intermittent road closures will be necessary while repairs are conducted on Dove Loop from Shady Brook Drive to Main Street.
