A Dallas police officer faces charges in Cedar Hill where he jailed over the weekend -- on charges of DWI and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Police say they found Senior Corporal Terry Charles asleep in a car parked at a closed business near Highway 67 and Belt Line.
After waking him and talking to him, officers believed Charles was under the influence so they hauled him in.
