Dallas police say a hit-and-run crash killed a man walking along the Houston Street Viaduct Thursday morning. They say someone hit a man who was walking in the left lane of the southbound side of the viaduct about 1:50 a.m.
Police say a car driving in the left lane hit the man who was walking above the railroad tracks and Hotel Street. Police were called to the scene, but the man who was walking died there.
The driver of the car did not stop.
The victim was taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office. He has not been identified.
Dallas police are still investigating; they did not have a description of the car Thursday morning.
