One person has died in a Collin County house fire.
Flames broke out Sunday at a home in rural Collin County on Lackey Drive, about four miles southeast of Blue Ridge.
When fire crews arrived the home was completely swallowed up in flames.
They found a woman outside the home with serious burns. She was rushed to Medical Center of McKinney in serious but not life-threatening condition.
Back at the scene, firefighters got the flames out but, sadly, they found a body inside the gutted home.
Investigators don't yet know the cause of the fire.
