One man was injured in an officer-involved shooting in the Wise County city of Paradise.
Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin told 1080 KRLD officers responded to a domestic situation on Honeysuckle Road. When they arrived, they heard a gunshot inside the home.
Officers retreated, and a man opened fire at officers. They returned fire, hitting him. He was rushed to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. There has been no word on his condition.
No officers were injured in the encounter.
