Smaller counties are often left out in the cold when it comes to getting the coronavirus vaccine. But one north Texas county is helping another in an effort to get more people vaccinated.
The state of Texas has announced they will be shipping up to 200,000 doses of the vaccine out to most of the larger counties, or counties that could give the shot to a large pool of people. That leaves smaller counties like Johnson county hoping that a neighbor helps them out.
Jamie Moore with Johnson County says Tarrant extended a hand. He says to get a shot you will have to go online and register.
Moore says the demand for the vaccine has been tremendous, since the state moved to the 1B phase.
