One person died in a fire Thursday evening at a Denton storage complex.
Officials say the fire was called in just before 8 p.m. and it damaged or destroyed at least a dozen units at the Storage Zone on Mayhill on the southeast side of town.
Firefighters faced a big obstacle simply because some of the units were packed with belongings from top-to-bottom. That made it tough to get at the flames.
During the battle, crews found the body of an unidentified man. Investigators have not decided on the cause of the fiure but they are looking into reports that people may have been living in one or more of the storage units, including the victim.
