One person suffered burns in an accident at the McKinney National Airport Thursday evening.
The McKinney Fire Department says a person was working on a helicopter shortly after 6:00pm and tried to lift off. The helicopter tilted onto its side and there was an explosion.
The person was able to escape from the helicopter. The person did suffer some burns and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The FAA will investigate.
