One person has died in a high-speed wrong-way crash in far north Fort Worth this morning.

Police say the first 9-1-1 calls came in just before 12:30 a.m. saying an 18-wheeler and an SUV had collided head-on on Highway 114, across from Texas Motor Speedway.

Paramedics and Fort Worth police quickly rolled to the scene and found the SUV smashed into the big rig's cab, leaving the SUV driver dead. The eastbound lanes of Hwy 114 were closed for several hours.

The SUV driver was identified as Justin resident William Fader, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
