One person has died in an early morning crash in Richardson.

One of the involved people was driving a Lexus and heading north on 75 near Beltline when he hit the center of a concrete divider.

After the crash, the driver and his passenger got out. That's when the driver of another car hit the Lexus, causing it to spin and hit that passenger who was standing in the road.

The passenger was a 32-year-old man from Florida. He was killed. The drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital and will be okay.

Traffic was backed up for miles and the accident was not cleared until just before 7 a.m.

Police say its Special Crash Investigation Team is looking into this crash.
