One person has been seriously hurt after being struck by a car in Wise County.
About 9 p.m. last night police and paramedics were called out to a spot near Newark on FM 718 and Newark Ranch Road.
The victim had been run over and was in great pain. A medical helicopter was called in to fly the victim to JPS in Fort Worth.
Police have not said anything about the driver or the reason for the collision.
