Update: Suspects in custody after Parker County residents advised to remain indoors

Three suspects have been taken into custody in relation to an aggravated robbery earlier today.

This comes after Parker County residents were initially advised to remain indoors while the suspects were on the loose.

According to the Parker County Sheriff's office, the suspects were being pursued by Dallas Police and the Erath County Sheriff's office earlier today in connection with a gunpoint robbery during which they stole a vehicle.

After this chase entered Parker County, Sheriff's deputies there joined up with their fellow law enforcement officers.

As they fled, the suspects then crashed their vehicle on Interstate 20 at the 397 eastbound mile marker before fleeing further on foot.

The suspects were considered armed and dangerous and, as such, residents were advised to remain indoors according to Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier.

The three suspects were described as black males, two of whom were wearing dark clothing and the other light clothing.

"If the suspects are located, dial 9-1-1 and do not approach them," Sheriff Authier said.
