A man has died after being struck by a vehicle on a rural road near Crandall last night.

A little past 6 p.m. a 911 caller reported the man had been struck on County Road 4116 between Crandall and Kaufman.
The victim was taken to the hospital in Kaufman where he was pronounced dead.
DPS troopers are still investigating and have not said if there will be any charges.
