A pedestrian has been struck and killed by traffic on I-35E in Dallas early Monday morning.
Dallas County Sheriff's deputies were called just before 2:00 a.m. and found the victim already dead on the northbound side of I-35 near Market Center.
The Sheriff's Office says the unidentified victim was struck while trying to cross the freeway, but investigators don't know why they were crossing at that point in the roadway.
