One person has died after being struck by traffic on I-35E in South Oak Cliff early this morning.

Just before 1:00 a.m. Dallas police were called to the scene on I-35E near Kiest Blvd where they found the victim already dead. It was not immediately clear how many vehicles had been involved.
Police have not said why the victim was on foot on the freeway.
All south bound lanes were closed for several hours for the clean-up and investigation.
