One person has died after being struck by several vehicles in Fort Worth last night.
Just past 9 p.m. someone was trying to cross I-30 near Beach Street but never made it. Callers told 911 about it and officers were sent to close the east-bound lanes. They found the victim already dead.
Several drivers had stopped and they told police they tried to avoid hitting the victim but were unable to stop or swerve in time.
Traffic was diverted off Beach but the freeway was reopened late last night.
