Plano is counting up the tree damage from last week's ice storm.

Plano City crews began cleaning up the mess around 6 p.m. and worked through Friday evening salting and sanding the roads to allow Public Works and Parks-and-Rec workers to start working on the 250 downed trees and limbs scattered around the city.

Other cities also had their crews out in the storm. Fort Worth reports using more than 2.5 million pounds of sand/salt mix on 1,200 locations.
