Starting tomorrow, Plano is shutting down one of its public libraries. But not forever.
Davis Library will be closed until spring so that crews can finish a $5.3 million renovation project. The city says closing the library is safer than keeping it open, and it'll ultimately save money. Books can still be borrowed and returned from any of Plano's other four public libraries.
When Davis Library opens again, the size of the children's area will be twice as big. It'll also have new meeting rooms, new study rooms, and a Children's Program room.
