A Plano man was sentenced to life in prison for secretly recording nearly two dozen woman undressing.

The Collin County DA's office says it was August of 2022 when 45-year-old Darius Bradford was a maintenance man at an apartment complex.

Court reports show a tenant discovered Bradford left his cell phone in her bathroom and was recording her. Police recovered the phone and discovered several videos on his phone of that woman and found evidence of nearly 50 other videos taken of women at stores and apartment complex.

Police say one of the victims illegally recorded was the 15-year-old daughter of his ex-girlfriend.

During the trial prosecutors said Bradford had been arrested twice in the past for similar crimes.

Bradford pleaded guilty, and let jurors decide his punishment. They could have given him a minimum five years in prison, instead they decided on a life sentence.
