MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD)- A grand jury in McKinney has indicted a Plano woman for the April murder of her ex-husband.
The shooting happened in the garage of a home on Monticello Circle in Plano in April. Police blame 39-year old Merridith Nunley for the murder of 55-year old David Nunley. Although the two had been divorced, they had been living in the same home with their three children.
Police say Merridith came home and found David talking on the phone to another woman. That's when the shooting happened. She fled....he managed to call 911 before he died. Merridith Nunley was found in her car in an apartment parking lot a short distance away. Police say she claimed the shooting was self defense.
Merridith Nunley remains locked up on a $500,000 bond.
