A 17-year-old girl is dead after police say she was shot in her sleep this morning in east Dallas.
It happened at around 2:30 Tuesday morning during a drive-by on Reynolds Avenue, near Dolphin Road and I-30.
Police say someone opened fire while driving by the house. One of the bullets went through the wall of Crystal Rodriguez's bedroom and hit her in the back while she was sleeping. She died at the hospital.
No motive or suspects have been released by police. They ask for anyone with information to come forward.
