A suspected killer is dead following a shooting in Dallas that left 4 others dead, including a toddler on Sunday afternoon.
Dallas police say five people were found shot at a home on Royce Drive in the southeast Dallas Rylie neighborhood near I-20 and Hwy 175.
When police arrived they confirmed three adults were already dead. A teenage girl and a toddler were badly wounded and rushed to the hospital.
The year-old toddler later died. The 15-year-old girl is considered to be in stable condition.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner has now identified the four people killed as a woman named Vanessa DeLaCruz and a one-year-old, Logan DeLaCruz along with Jose Lopez and Carina Lopez.
Sources tell KRLD the 21-year-old shooting suspect, identified as Byron Carrillo, killed himself after a high-speed chase. Police records show he had cut off an ankle monitor around 4:30 p.m., an hour before the five people were shot.
Carrillo had been awaiting trial for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in two prior cases with victims in yesterday's shooting.
Police say Carrillo had been out on bond, but was fitted with an ankle monitor on November 11 for violating the terms of his bond.
Dallas police said they were looking for Carrillo when the shootings happened.
