Fort Worth police are asking for help to find a car involved in an apparent road rage shooting on Sunday that killed a young father.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Interstate 820 and U.S. Highway 287, Fort Worth police said.

Police said the wife of one of the drivers called 911 and said the second driver shot her husband and drove off. Emmanuel DeJesus Torres, 30, was killed.

Police said investigators figured out the suspect hit a guardrail during the accident, which caused major damage and ripped off the front bumper. The suspect's car is a Blue Infiniti G-35 Coupe or Sedan and they asked anyone who has seen one with that kind of damage to reach out.

Torres' wife posted on Facebook that their 4-year-old son saw everything, and begged anyone who saw the car to reach out to police before the car gets repaired.

Police said if you have any information regarding this investigation to call Detective O'Brien at 817-392-4338.
