
Grand Prairie police say a customer shot and killed a suspected robber Thursday night.
Police say the shooting happened at a business on West Polo Road. Reports say when arrived at the scene they found the unidentified suspect inside with a gunshot wound. He transported to a local hospital but did not survive his wounds.
Police say the suspect was allegedly robbing the business at gunpoint when he was confronted by an armed customer who was a concealed handgun license holder.
The man told police he feared for his life and for the life of the employee when he intervened and shot the suspect.
Police say no charges are expected.
