
Authorities are investigating after several explosive devices were discovered in a wooded area of a city park, officials said Monday.
According to the Garland Police Department, a person found a suitcase containing the devices in Wynne Park. Bomb technicians worked to safely disarm them, and no injuries were reported.
The FBI and Garland police are working to determine the origin of the explosives. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to those responsible.
“If you have information, we want to hear from you,” Garland Police Lt. Pedro Barineau said.
