Police are investigating an attempted ATM burglary at a convenience store in White Settlement early Christmas Eve after masked suspects tried to steal the machine using a stolen SUV.
Officers say the suspects ripped the ATM out of the store, but it fell off the vehicle a few miles away, ending the attempt.
Authorities say both the stolen ATM and the SUV were later recovered. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and other evidence as they work to identify the suspects. Police have not released details about how the SUV was stolen or how many people may have been involved.
The case remains under investigation.
