On Friday night, police were on their way to an illegal street take-over. The racers and spectators took off at the sound of sirens. Two cars were speeding North Belt Line when they collided. They were back seat passengers in a car that was rear-ended by a pick-up on Highway 380 at Stonebridge. Officials say the car was slowing down for a yellow light when the pick-up slammed it from behind. The driver of the car and a front seat passenger survived as did the driver of the pick-up.
