It turns out that the intrusion that led to a lockdown last Wednesday at Haltom Middle School never happened.
Haltom City Police say a juvenile placed a prank call to the school's office, saying that there was an intruder on campus.

The school was placed on lockdown while police searched the campus for the intruder that never existed.
Because the suspect is a juvenile, Haltom City Police could not release any additional information about that person.
They did say the juvenile is not a student at Haltom Middle School and has no connection with the Birdville ISD.
Making a false alarm or report involving a public school is a state jail felony.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests or charges are possible.
