DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A new mom and baby are doing well, but Dallas police are still looking for the suspects who shot her forcing an early delivery.

The woman, 8 months pregnant at the time, was shot Sunday afternoon while leaving church in far Northwest Dallas near Audelia Road and Forest Lane.
Police say she was caught in the crossfire of a shoot out between a group of men. The woman was shot in the stomach and rushed to the hospital where doctors delivered her baby, performing an emergency C section.
She had a boy who is doing well, as is the new mom. Doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
Meanwhile police continue to search for the shooters. Investigators say the suspects got out of their cars and fired at each other at close range. They fled in a black Ford Focus and a champagne-colored four-door Nissan.
Police are asking for help from the public to identify the suspects.
