Fort Worth police say an incident initially reported as a possible shooting at Arlington Heights High School was actually caused by fireworks
Police were called to the school around 8:15 Friday morning after reports of possible shots fired inside the building. The school was placed on lockdown as officers responded.
Investigators later learned that a student or students had lit fireworks inside a bathroom.
The lockdown has since been lifted, and police say there is no active threat at the school.
