Police are looking for three people in connection to a carjacking and kidnapping in Fort Worth on Saturday.
The incident took place near the intersection of Orange Street and Fifth Avenue around 12 p.m., Fort Worth police said. Three people approached the car and assaulted a 12-year-old inside the vehicle. They then stole the car with a 1-year-old still inside, police said.
Officers later found the infant unharmed, 12 miles away on Chamita Lane and returned them to their frantic mother who reported the kidnapping. MedStar also attended to non-life-threatening injuries of the 12-year-old.
The stolen car is still missing. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call Fort Worth police.
