Police in Irving are looking for two men in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month. Investigators say the men are related and may have fled the country.

On April 7, police said officers were called to a home on Ouida Street just west of Loop 12 about a disturbance. They found the body of 24-year-old Abel Alvarado with several gunshot wounds. Relatives of Alvarado said he had been in an argument before he was shot.

The following day, police named 32-year-old Erik Natanael Amador Godoy as a suspect in the murder. They have also named 18-year-old Franklin Amador, Godoy's younger brother, as a suspect.

Police believe both men are traveling together. Their vehicle was recovered in San Antonio shortly after the murder. Investigators said it's likely they have gone to Honduras. They are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Investigator Curtis at 972-721-3539 or ECurtis@cityoffirving.org.
