Police in DeSoto are searching for three suspects accused of robbing an armored-truck driver after pepper-spraying him during a cash pickup.
The robbery happened about 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas, and investigators say the suspects drove off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Authorities have not released descriptions of the suspects or their vehicle but say the driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses and urging anyone with information to contact DeSoto police or Crime Stoppers.
The department says it’s working with federal partners as the investigation continues.
